Thank you to all of our visitors at the Spring Remodelers Showcase! If you missed the Showcase weekend, photos of our home, as well as past Showcase homes, can be viewed on our website.
A completely redesigned main level includes a welcoming entry, formal and informal dining rooms, powder room, mud room/laundry room and fully remodeled kitchen. Enlarged arched doorways open the home. Custom built-ins in the dinette and mud room create a functional and beautiful space for the family. A new quartz island replaces the old peninsula and provides seating for four at the snack counter. A mix of soft white and neutral tones creates a warm, contemporary and cohesive feel throughout.
Details and finishes are reflected throughout the main level. Soft gray cabinetry is a neutral backdrop for polished quartz, glossy tile and matte black fixtures. Wood elements are tied in throughout. Dining room doors were replaced with arched openings that mimic the style in the foyer and dinette.
In the laundry room, folding/sorting space was added above the washer and dryer. New storage cabinets keep the area organized. The mud room went from chaotic to calm with the addition of a bench, hooks and cubbies.
In the dinette, existing cabinets were replaced with new custom cabinetry including a coffee station with pull-out shelves and outlets for easy use. See for yourself: When Plekkenpol Builders remodels your home, “The Difference is in the Details.”
