Five-Star Luxury
Primary Bath, Edina
When remodeling their primary bath, the owners of an Edina condominium envisioned something sleek and modern — a bathroom with beautiful finishes and thoughtful details that make getting ready a little less routine and a lot more indulgent.
The result is a stunning transformation, turning a dated, utilitarian bathroom into a space that rivals a five-star hotel.
The standout feature is the oversized shower that brings the true spa experience home.
By borrowing space from the adjacent closet, the shower was expanded to accommodate functional features such as grab bars, a built-in niche for toiletries and a polished quartz ledge.
Replacing the old shower door with a glass shower enclosure opens sightlines, making the room feel more spacious.
“The shower is amazing!” said the owners. “We are so thrilled with everything!”
The vanity received a new polished quartz countertop, new faucets, pulls, mirrors and lighting. The old closet was transformed into a more useful linen cabinet with roll-out shelves.
Tilting/adjustable mirrors over the vanity allow for height versatility and reducing glare.
The luxury bathroom experience is complete with heated electric floors and a large soaking tub.
