Construction Laborer
Plekkenpol Builders is searching for a full-time Construction Laborer/Driver/Shop Maintenance to join our team!
Main responsibilities include driving our dump truck to deliver products and pick up site debris and company equipment in a timely and safe manner and in accordance with all laws and regulations. Other duties include assisting at the job site and maintaining the shop and grounds.
Requirements include:
- A valid Minnesota driver’s license and clean driving record
- Meet all DOT requirements
- Knowledge of trucking intra-state laws/regulations and the ability to drive a 26,000 GVW truck
- General mechanical knowledge and the ability to perform daily maintenance on the company truck
- Ability to provide assistance in other work related areas as required including site demolition, job site clean-up, general shop maintenance and maintaining the truck yard and building grounds
- Ability to communicate effectively with other staff as well as customers, clients, vendors and subcontractors
- Knowledge of organizational methods and managing multiple tasks
- Ability to work without close supervision
