Position:
Project Manager (a.k.a. remodeling psychiatrist). I am responsible for the initial client meeting, estimating the project costs and providing contract documents, as well as design coordination and customer service throughout each project. I have 34 years of project management experience, 24 years of residential design experience and five years in the field as a carpenter. I understand lighting concepts and have earned kitchen and bathroom design accreditations, along with training in green building. I have earned the designation of CAPS – Certified Aging in Place Specialist.
What I enjoy most about working for Plekkenpol Builders:
The knowledge that Plekkenpol Builders stands by their work and executes performance in the field with a goal of absolute perfection. What I enjoy most about the remodeling industry is that I truly never get tired of watching different spaces transform from the under-performing rooms they are to the beautiful spaces they become.
Outside of work:
I coach my two boys in football, baseball and skiing. I spend time with my family camping, boating, fishing and being outdoors. I am always building and remodeling at my home and I enjoy making custom furniture.
