Position:
Project Manager/Interior Designer. As a Project Manager, my primary goal is to assist clients in their remodeling needs from first consult all the way to completed construction. I enjoy designing spaces that meet the clients’ needs and wants, as well as the home’s needs. I am a completionist, and when I am inspired at the first visit – seeing the potential of a remodel that could benefit the user and the home – I have a strong drive to see the project through. Over the past eleven years, I have worked in residential remodeling primarily renovating older homes built in 1880s-2000s in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul metro area.
I started my college career in psychology and nursing as I wanted to help people. I quickly learned that wasn’t my path. I researched more artistic fields where I could still feel the joy of helping people, and I found interior design and fell in love! I have a BA in Interior Architecture and Design.

I have always been a creative person, great listener, detailed planner and empathetic people-person, and I get to do it all with Plekkenpol. Their quality and attention to caring for homes is unique in this business. Work with the people who appreciate, respect and see you! The world is small and having a great community of people supporting you is important. Plekkenpol allows me to push my growth in remodeling and share my passion for and knowledge of homes!
Outside of work:
I enjoy finding peace – which typically includes being outside! I grew up in the country, and I find if I need a breath, a walk, bike ride, kayak paddle or going exploring in Minnesota can help me reset and find my Zen. I also love doing my own creative projects. Either on my old 1902 fixer upper, drawing a doodle, charcoal drawing, or on special occasion, pulling out my sewing machine!
I love living and working in the city. I enjoy exploring the parks and kayaking plus bike rides in the summers.
I adopted a puppy in 2020. A big 75+lb Staffordshire Terrier and German Shepherd mix who is so sweet, playful and the best cuddler.
