    When the homeowner first contacted Plekkenpol Builders, the plan was to remodel her 1902 home and possibly include a kitchen addition. The family loved their home and its location just steps away from Lake Harriet. Unfortunately severe structural issues in the home's foundation were discovered. After every effort was made to save the existing home, the homeowner made the difficult decision to tear it down and rebuild.
